Software studio · Nepal

Software that works on the networks people actually have.

Athena Solutions designs and builds mobile apps, web platforms and real-time systems. We test on slow mobile data and shared phones, because that's where most of our users are.

What we build

From the first sketch to the app store, and after.

Mobile apps

Android and iOS from one codebase, with offline fallbacks and small downloads for budget phones.

React Native · Expo · push notifications

Web platforms and APIs

Back ends that stay correct under load: bookings that never double-sell, payments that settle exactly once.

TypeScript · Node.js · MongoDB · Redis · Kafka

Real-time audio and video

Calls tuned and measured for weak 3G and 4G links, self-hosted so you don't pay for media in dollars.

WebRTC · LiveKit · Opus

Local payments

eSewa and Khalti integrations that verify every payment server-to-server before anything is confirmed.

eSewa ePay v2 · Khalti KPG-2

Privacy-sensitive systems

Health and identity data encrypted at the field level, with access limited to the people who need it.

AES-256-GCM · signed documents · audit trails

Infrastructure

Deployments that scale for a busy evening and run on hosting you control, in Nepal if you need it.

Docker · Kubernetes · monitoring

Our work

Mann, our tele-counselling app

Mann app icon

Mann मन

Mann connects people across Nepal with counsellors and psychiatrists over private audio calls. It books and takes payment with eSewa or Khalti, keeps calls clear on poor connections, and never records a session.

About Mann

How we work

Small team, short loops, real devices.

  1. Understand

We meet the people who will use it and agree what success looks like before we write code.

  2. Build in slices

You get something working every week or two, on your own phone, not a slide deck.

  3. Test on real networks

We try every release on slow and lossy connections and on low-end Android phones.

  4. Launch and support

We handle the store listings, privacy policy and monitoring, then keep improving it with you.
